Abigail Bach
VP of Program Strategy and Business Development

Abigail Bach joined Edify as VP of Program Strategy and Business Development in August 2013. She spent the previous seven years working for Opportunity International and comes to Edify with a strong background in microfinance. Abigail worked in financial services for more than fifteen years, including First Boston and Merrill Lynch in New York, and Banque Indosuez in Paris. She is fluent in French and specializes in Francophone Africa for Edify.

In 1994, Abigail moved to Denver. Her passion for serving impoverished children led her to leave the business world for the non-profit sector. She founded and oversaw the development of Joy House and Victory House, Christian homes for abused women and children living in Denver’s inner city, which continue to serve families in need today.

Abigail earned an MBA in finance from the Wharton Graduate School of Business and a BA in history from Princeton University. Abigail loves the outdoors and spends her free time hiking, especially Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks, skiing, and snowshoeing.
