Director of Strategic Initiatives
Anthony Bruster is Edify’s Director of Strategic Initiatives. Before joining Edify, Anthony served as Vice President of Corporate Development with Family Legacy Missions International, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans in Zambia, Africa. Prior to his work with Family Legacy, Anthony practiced law full time, serving as a partner in the nationally renowned litigation firm Nix, Patterson & Roach LLP.
Anthony earned a BBA in economics from Baylor University and graduated summa cum laude from Baylor Law School. During his tenure at Nix Patterson, Anthony handled patent litigation cases across the U.S. and in several foreign countries. After ten years in the practice of law, Anthony heard God’s call to pursue greater significance with his professional life, and he subsequently resigned from his partnership position.
In addition to his work with Edify, Anthony manages several private sector businesses. He has also served on several different non-profit boards, including the Carroll Education Foundation, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, and Young Life-Texarkana. Anthony and his wife have been married eighteen years and have three children. Anthony enjoys traveling, hunting, snow skiing, and spending time with his family.
