Karla is an educational leader with more than 20 years of experience in school leadership, organizational management, and Christ-centered education. She currently serves as the Regional Vice President of Central American Programs, providing strategic leadership to country teams and supporting the growth of sustainable Christ-centered education across the region.
Karla joined Edify in 2016 to launch the Guatemala program and has served in both country and regional leadership roles. Throughout her time in Edify, she has helped strengthen educational quality, develop leaders, and build regional initiatives to support schools through training, innovation, and collaborative partnerships. Her experience includes strategic planning, leadership development, educational innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration, always with a commitment to advancing Edify’s mission.
Before joining Edify, Karla spent more than a decade leading Christian schools in Guatemala, overseeing academic, administrative, and operational excellence while mentoring educators and school leaders. She holds a Master’s Degree in Innovation in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Pedagogy.
Karla is passionate about developing leaders and equipping schools to flourish academically, organizationally, and spiritually so that more children experience Christ-centered education.
