is an experienced IT professional and educator. He has experience in higher education and workplace learning environments. His role at Edify is to work with schools to promote effective uses of educational technology. This includes providing leadership and direction in the appropriate use of instructional and operation technologies to increase efficiencies and productivity within Edify schools. He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from KNUST, a Masters in Engineering Business Management from Coventry University in the UK, and is currently pursuing a PhD program in Information Technology. Ransford is also a Microsoft Certified Master, Microsoft IT Professional, CompTIA certified, CISCO certified, Oracle Certified, and a Certified Ethical Hacker.
Prior to joining Edify, Ransford was the IT service management consultant for the USAID in Liberia. He was also the head of ICT training for CIPD GIMPA where he was instrumental in designing the first ever professional diploma program in ICT in Ghana. In 2012, he was awarded the champion of digital literacy award by Certiport (Pearson VUE) in Las Vegas for work done in providing optimal learning and certification solutions to students who require technology skills to secure meaningful employment in the competitive job market in Ghana.
