Victor Hu is managing partner and co-founder of Lumos Capital Group, a firm that partners with entrepreneurs and companies who are defining the future of human capital. Lumos invests in growth-stage companies in the education technology, knowledge services, and human capital sector globally. From 2006 to 2017, Victor was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he co-founded and led globally the team that advised and financed the leading knowledge services and education technology companies. Victor also worked as an international M&A and securities attorney for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. Victor earned a BA from Amherst College, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and two daughters.
